RX Cam View App Push Notifications

RX Cam View App Push Notifications

Due to Recent changes in App updates and phone battery usage , there has been significant changes in how the RXCAMVIEW app uses Push notifications

RXCAM

Apple iOS devices:

Push notifications will be received whether the App is running or not. However there is no list of events in the App.

Android devices:

App being used: Notifications are not sent to the phone, they are shown as events in the APP.

App running in the background as a service: Notifications are sent to the phone and then they are shown as an event in the App.

App is killed (this is an option in later android versions only, and may be active as default by power management): Notifications are not sent to the phone. When the App is opened the it will show events that have been cached. Please note there is a limit to how many events are cached, which is set by Google's servers according to number of events and length of gaps between them.
